Easy Piesy
After weeks of careful study, frustrated sighs, a few head scratches and rather a lot of head banging I have at last succeeded in getting my pc to formally acknowledge the existence of my new camera. All it took were some well-placed, well-fed.............................. batteries!

Ahh, the joys of technology :)
Isn't it frustrating when you spend ages trying to get some computer thing working right, and the solution winds up being absurdly simple! I used to spend quite a bit of time trying to get pics loaded onto Blogger because often, for no discernable reason, they just wouldn't load. Finally, I tried Firefox browser instead of IE, and I haven't had that particular trouble since. (Of course, the latest Windows XP update has been giving me fits, but that is another story!) They are nice looking pies.
I don't know about you, but how many instructions have you read that say, insert batteries before you go any further?
By the way sorry, just wanted to say hello and very enjoyable blog.
Yes, the joys of owning a digital camera! Too bad you didn't ask your kids how to make it work--I have a feeling they are born with that knowledge...!!! :)

Everybody, please don't think I hadn't put batteries in. They just weren't strong enough but subconsciously, I suppose Ithought the camera would run off the mains if it was attached to the computer.
Cream - I have inside knowledge of the catering trade ;-) but I promise they were all cooked and eaten on the day they were baked x
