Brief Indulgence

I have foregone running tonight as I am too busy flipping cartwheels on the top of the world.

He passed! 11 GCSEs, all C and above ( except Eng Lit, but I always knew he was never going to win a Whitbread Prize).

I have awarded him this.
It is cheaper than a new laptop.

Excellent! 2 years of A levels, 3 years (at least) of Uni and you'll be home free!! Keep cartwheeling :) x

Congratulations!
I only got 7 Cs... Cod Liver Oil!
The restaurants were full of parents and kids celebrating and I wore out that "joke" by the end of the night!
I think only the parents understood it.
If I tried to catwheel I think I'd be carted in a wheelbarrow!

I got 9 B's and it was my brother who got the new bike, I never understood that. Perhaps I'm stoooopid.

Ian - it's an Edward Monkton hat. I love his stuff.

Is it really only 5 more years Ziggi? Do I get to keep all my own salary after that?

Cream - it took me a few seconds to get that joke. And they make the stuff here in Hull too. I wanted to take Jack out to celebrate last night too but he prefered to get together with his mates and they all partied til dawn, mnainly in my Shed, it wasn't a pretty sight this morning but I left them sleeping it off.

Pie - thank you - it is good, isn't it? Up until now, I assumed that everyone got straight A's but it appears that's not the case. I'm just relieved he's got what he needs to get to college without having to do resits and that I've not had the Education Welfare Officer round once in the last 11 years.

Mike - I got straight A's and had to get a Saturday job to pay for my driving lessons, whilst my sister had her Family Allowance given to her while she was at college and Mum bought all her driving lessons even though she failed and didn't take her test til a couple of years ago. I still can't figure that one out.
