The Wonderful Thing about Tiggers

With the tumble dryer broken, Tigger wondered how he'd ever recover his Bounce.

The wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is Tiggers are wonderful things
Their tops are made out of rubber
Their bottoms are made out of springs
They're bouncy, trouncy, flouncy, pouncy
Fun, fun, fun, fun, fun
But the most wonderful thing about Tiggers
Is they don't mind being pegged by the ear to the whirligig.

Are you and your bedmate at odds these days? I find that Joyce reacts nicely to a good airing out every-so-often as well.

Somehow--Tigger doesn't look any worse for the wear! After all, Tigger likes high places!

Boing! Boing!

The wonderful thing about Birdmen
Is Birdmen are wonderful things
Their bins are made out of rubber
And their bottoms are held up with strings
They're beardy and weirdy
At weekends they're Deidre
They're cautious and quiet
A rare sighting a riot
And they love everything that has wings

Boing. Boing. Boing.

He's actually Jack's bedmate. He seems to have it on good authority that girls love that sort of thing. I took the picture for his msn. I'm sure I don't want to know to what purpose it will be put.

Joyce needs an open-top little fun mobile to get her to Wal-Mart if her latest post is to be believed. She's shopping for you by the sounds of it so get on the case, Brian x

Precisely, Diane. He's as happy as Eeyore up there - or as happy as Eeyore would be if he'd just been doused in Lenor.

The wonderful thing about Cherrypies
Is Cherrypies are wonderful things
Their pips are made out of silver
And their hands are decorated with bling
They're wordy, gurdy, and pretty darn purdy
At weekends they're even durdy (dirty)
They're silly and controversial
Killing one might even be merciful
And they're prone to spontaneous flings.

Boing. Boing. Boing.

Thank you for the sonnet, Andrea. It's all true apart from the bling. I don't have any rings at all. x

I prefer Eyore's nagging optimism and Owl's verbosity myself. I have watched the original about 5 billion times.
I am almost certain that somewhere in the world some lazy Academia NUT has equated Tigger's wonderfully overdeveloped self esteem into their thesis as a metaphor for the Leap before you Look approach of George Dubya.
Isn't anything sacred anymore?

Look! Look! A political comment! I hope Mark's looking in so he can see that it's not just all fluffy bunnies and hormonal imbalances over here. This is serious stuff!

Thank you for bringing a touch of gravitas to the proceedings, HE.

Note to self - pick up bag of academia nuts on way home.
