The local traffic department may be proud of their congestion-busting management of the major roadworks taking place in and around Hull but the overhead signal flashing above the A63 as I left work this evening suggests they have an unrealistic impression of just how far their influence can reach.

We've got one of those signs at the bottom of our road, for my missus.
Your local public works department actually put up that sign? Seriously? And no one is writing in hysterical letters to the editor to complain about how their tax money is being spent?
Perhaps I am missing something.
we don't have anything near that exciting up here in the great white north... but then again, we don't have roads...

Don't worry folks. I checked with her yesterday and CP is just busy. How one can be too busy to blog is beyond me, but then, some people have a real life.
