Sharon - I've never understood parents that wouldn't encourage music. I tried with Jack but the only thing he excelled at were the rugby songs.

Kate - I still have a recorder. A treble. I use it torture Jack occasionally. I tried violin too for a while but I didn't like what it did to my chin.

Ziggi - can you ask one of the girls to sneak it back for you? That's what Mum got me to do with her Bridge Over Troubled Water album.

And it's 2 lots of 2 but you can use as many S's as you like.

you very talented lady! - I left my piano when I left my husband - I'd like it back really but it wouldn't fit in the Tescos carrier in which I took the rest of my possesions. My girls play it when they're there so it's not completely wasted - and also, I can't play it :o) (but it was my Granny's)

I know you don't have a piano or a sax anymore Cherry, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you don't play, but I do know a lot of talented musicians who never play, who have actually made a decision not to play.

That's a pity. When I scrape on my fiddle, I dream about being able to join in a session, and not just sit and admire.

Being serious, you are very musical, I do envy that. I only ever learnt to play the recorder, and the violin very, very badly. Oh, and you never want to hear me sing.
